Registration has begun for Fall 2011 After-School Acting Classes
Get in the Act programs provide young people ages 3 to 17 with innovative and enriching performing arts training. Through their work, students can explore and express their individuality, build self-confidence, and gain new knowledge and understanding of acting techniques. Enrollment for after-school programs are limited to 12 students to allow for one-on-one work between the student and instructor.

Stateline/South Lake Tahoe
The Acting Studio
Students explore acting technique focusing on learning the tools for creating realistic three dimensional characters for the stage. Programs focus on "Method Acting" techniques. Actors use the 7 steps to building a character, learn to make choices, discover inner actions, physical actions, subtext, emotions, perceptions and motivations. Each session will culminate with a "Showcase" for family and friends using minimal props and costumes on the last day of class. (Beginner-Advanced Levels– 2nd to 8th Grades)

Creative Drama Adventures
Step into your favorite stories as we use creative drama to bring them to life. Students are guided trough dramatic activities that encourage self-expression, concentration, cooperation and discussion. The program emphasizes telling the story, creating dialog, action and character.
